PADI Open Water Diver Course

Course Breakdown:

1. eLearning – Complete the online coursework at home.
2. Pool Training – Learn basic scuba skills in our heated pool.
3. Open Water Dives – Apply your skills in a real-world setting (lake, ocean, or quarry).

Who Can Join?

• Anyone 10+ years old, in good health, and comfortable in water.
• Ages 10-14 qualify for the Junior Open Water Diver program (same class as adults).
• Note: The Accelerated Course is not suitable for 10-11-year-olds.

Medical Requirements:

• Download the PADI Medical Form.
• A physician’s approval is required if you answer "YES" to any questions.

Required Equipment:

• You’ll need your mask, snorkel, fins, and boots (available at the shop with student discounts).

Course Pricing:

• $600 – Includes training but not personal gear.
• $550 per person for groups of 2+ (must register together but can choose different class dates).

Private & Semi-Private Classes:

• Available for an extra $200 per person (requires 2 weeks’ notice).

Class Options (Offered Monthly):

• 2-Week Course – Two evenings per week (6-10 PM).
• 4 Day Accelerated Course – Thurs/Fri (6-10 PM) + Sat (1-7 PM).
• eLearner Accelerated – Wed-Fri (6-10 PM).

Certification Dives – Lake Pleasant:

• Weekend shore dives (Sat-Sun) complete your 4 open water dives.
• Traveling? We can provide referrals to PADI dive centers worldwide for certification completion.
• Private Lake Dives available for $200 extra per person.
