What You’ll Learn
Diving at altitude requires specialized knowledge and adjustments. In this course, you’ll learn how to:
- Understand how altitude affects your body and dive planning
- Use dive tables or computers for altitude diving
- Plan dives safely with reduced no-decompression limits
- Properly account for pressure differences at elevation
- Adjust buoyancy and weighting for freshwater environments
- Execute safe ascents and descents in altitude conditions
- Recognize and manage risks unique to high-elevation diving
